Prof. Dr. Ayşe Elif Küpeli

Hakkımda

24 Ocak 1975 Ankara doğumluyum. İlk-orta ve lise eğitimimi 1982-1992 yılları arasında TED Ankara Koleji’nde tamamladım.

Prof. Dr. Ayşe Elif Küpeli

1992 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ne girdim ve 1998 yılında mezun oldum. 1999-2003 yılları arasında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göğüs Hastalıkları anabilim dalında uzmanlık eğitimimi tamamladım. 2000 yılında 6 ay süre ile Amerika’da Cleveland Clinic’de tanısal ve girişimsel bronkoskopi, akciğer nakli ve uyku bozuklukları alanlarında “gözlemci doktor” olarak eğitim gördüm.

2004-2008 yılları arasında Özel Mesa Hastanesi’nde uzman doktor olarak çalıştım. 2008 Aralık ayında Başkent Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göğüs Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı’nda akademik hayata ilk adımımı attım. 2012 yılında “Doçent”, 2018 yılında ise “Profesör” ünvanını aldım.

2013 yılında Göğüs Hastalıkları alanında ”Avrupa Yeterlilik Belgesini” almaya hak kazandım. 2018 yılında Akciğer Nakli konusunda Sağlık Bakanlığınca sertifiye oldum ve sertifika aldım. Halen Başkent Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göğüs Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı’nda görev yapmaktayım.

İlgi alanlarım arasında uyku apnesi tedavisi, gelişmiş tanısal bronkoskopi, astım tedavisi, kronik obstrüktif akciğer hastalığı (KOAH),akciğer embolisi, akciğer transplantasyonu ve interstisyel akciğer hastalıkları sayılabilir. 2018 yılından bu yana koşu, 2021 yılından itibaren de triatlon sporu ile ilgilenmekteyim. Şan dersleri aldım ve şarkı söylemeyi çok severim. 1 çocuk annesiyim.
